For the first time, the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria is hosting a Summer School under the theme “Evaluate, Play, and Connect” as part of the Expanded Conference. Participants attend workshops at the Hagenberg campus in addition to taking part in the conference activities. A series of expert talks examine state-of-the-art approaches in user experience and game analysis. Finally, a panel discussion on HCI research for computer games serves as a conduit between the conference and summer school, featuring Michael Lankes (AT), Simone Kriglstein (AT/CZ) and Günter Wallner (AT).
