Baoyang Chen (CN) is an artist and researcher who works with AI and robotics. His installations give computational systems a physical presence, making machine behaviour perceptible through movement and space. His work asks how agency forms between a programmed system and the people who encounter it. Chen is Associate Professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and Executive Director of the Science and Art Center at the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
