Daichen Wang (CN/AU) is a PhD candidate at Queensland University of Technology. His practice-based research explores how extended reality (XR), immersive environments, and digital storytelling can support cultural reconnection within diasporic communities. His current project, Root-Seeking · Xun Gen, investigates the reinterpretation of Chinese cultural heritage through XR experiences, combining creative practice with audience research to examine memory, identity, place, and cross-cultural engagement.
