Ghazal Hosseini (IR/AT) is a media artist with a background in computer science and engineering. She is a Master’s student in Media and Interactive Art at Interface Cultures, University of Arts Linz, and was an exchange student at IAMAS (Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences), Japan. She works as a Lab Assistant at IT:U Interaction and XR Labs, where she engineers biosensor-driven pipelines, translating biosignal data into responsive extended reality environments. Her research sits at the intersection of embodied AI, affective computing, post-humanism and autonomous systems, treating physiological signals as a non-verbal communication layer between humans and adaptive technologies. She is interested in the anthropological dynamics between humans and adaptive technologies, exploring how this relationship continuously redefines both technological development and societal structures. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at Ars Electronica (Linz), Amber Network Festival (Berlin), and IAMAS (Softopia, Japan).
