Jenna Caravello

Jenna Caravello is an artist working across animation, video games, and installation forms. She tells deeply personal stories that are somber and eerie, colorful and tactile. These works explore modern love, physical and digital impermanence, the identity politics of digital avatars, and relationships across online forums.
Caravello received an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts and a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her work has been featured internationally, including at the Melbourne International Animation Festival, REDCAT, the Nimoy theater, Raindance Film Festival, GIRAF International Animation Festival, and Slamdance. She is an Assistant Professor of Design Media Arts at UCLA.
