Ryat Yezbick (US) is a visual artist investigating how technological infrastructures mediate collective memory, ethics, and public life through archival research and collaborative practice. Against the backdrop of AI, pervasive surveillance, and decentralized global conflict, Yezbick explores how systems of computation shape not only what we see, but how we remember, move, and bear witness. Working across a variety of mediums – live performance, experimental documentary, installation, AI and new media – their work has garnered support from international audiences and curators. They are a multi-time grant recipient, published author, and award-winning artist who is currently working as Faculty in the Narrative and Emerging Media Program at Arizona State University. Most recently, they completed fellowships at the MIT Open Documentary Lab and Onassis ONX Studio. Their most recent exhibitions include: Tribeca Film Festival (NY), LAXART (LA), Khoj (New Delhi), New Images (Paris), Reisig and Taylor Contemporary (LA), and the Performance Art Museum (LA).
