Sifan Pan (CN) is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Art at the University of Arts Linz. She previously earned her Master’s degree in Art in Context from the Berlin University of the Arts, where her thesis was awarded the DAAD Graduate Creative Scholarship. She completed her undergraduate studies at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and participated in a sponsored exchange program at Joshibi University of Art and Design in Japan. Her research focuses on AI-assisted participatory art mediation, exploring how generative AI can support collective storytelling, digital art co-creation, and feminist perspectives in community-based art practices. She investigates the intersection of artificial intelligence, participatory education, and cross-cultural identity, examining how AI can serve as a tool for visualizing complex temporal experiences and enhancing inclusive artistic collaboration. In addition to her academic work, she creates original picture books, watercolor, and ink paintings, integrating traditional and digital artistic methods.
