Simon Hochleitner (AT) is a university assistant at the Department of Media Design and Digital Literacy at the Institute of Art and Education, University of Art and Design Linz. His doctoral research examines the artistic value of three-dimensional digitisations and of the digitisation processes themselves. Its central question is what emerges creatively in translating objects into three dimensions. This work builds on collaborations such as the one with the Salzburg Festival. He is also part of the FWF-funded artistic research project “Beyond Glaciation” (PEEK).
