Veneta Androva (BG) is a Bulgarian visual artist and filmmaker based in Berlin. Working across CGI animation, speculative documentary, moving image and installation, her practice explores how technological infrastructures, artificial intelligence and automated media shape perception, systems of knowledge and political imagination. Combining artistic research, documentary strategies and synthetic world-building, she develops hybrid cinematic forms in which evidence, fiction and simulation intersect.

Her work has been presented internationally at film festivals, art institutions and exhibition venues. In 2026, her latest film Spray and Pray premiered in the International Short Film Competition at Visions du Réel, was presented at the Bulgarian Pavilion of the 61st International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia, and received an Honorary Mention at Prix Ars Electronica.
